Incredible Hulk The Hulk Smashes his way into the box office this summer with a movie as incredible as it’s titled. First off this “Incredible Hulk” movie is not in any way affiliated with the 2003 “Hulk” film. It’s a fresh start that is in touch with its Marvel comic roots and parts of the old TV show. In the opening credits of the movie gives you a quick origin story as Dr. Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) with the help of his then girlfriend Dr. Betty Ross (Liv Tyler) performs an experiment on himself with Gamma Radiation that goes terribly wrong. Bruce is exposed to massive amounts of Gamma Radiation that transforms him into the Hulk. Realizing the dangerous power of the Hulk inside himself, Bruce goes on the run trying to stay off the grid by moving from place to place, find a cure for his condition and maintain self-control so that he doesn’t transform. Meanwhile, military General Ross (William Hurt) who witnessed the power of the Hulk during Bruce Banner’s experiment wants to track him down and extract the Hulk from his body and turn it into a weapon, is using everything at his disposal to track down Bruce and capture him. One of his troop’s new members covert ops specialist Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth) himself becomes very fascinated by the power of the Hulk and seems to want power like that for himself at any cost. As Bruce reunites with Betty they try to avoid the military tracking them and create a cure. But with danger closing in and not being able to trust anyone but each other the Hulk is the only salvation they have. People who go see this movie will definitely not be disappointed. Its equal parts action, drama, suspense and sci-fi. It takes a lot of parts from the comics and a few parts from the old TV show. The animation of how Bruce Banner transforms into the Hulk is so incredible you have to see it to believe it. The Hulk himself looks just like you’d see in the comics and the way he moves and interacts with things and characters looks real. Hardcore fans like myself will recognize a few of his signature moves. The battle scenes are hardcore and intense. There are explosions, buildings and vehicles destroyed. No Holds barred fighting. There’s No Holding Back. You see the drive and motivation of each character portrayed perfectly. Also note. Don’t leave right away. When it seems the film is about
to end an extra scene comes on that you don’t want to miss out on.
Fans and people in general who have been following these movies will be
surprised and enjoy it.
Iron Man Believe the hype! Iron Man has started the summer with a Super Bang! Billionaire, genius inventor and playboy Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is the head of Stark Enterprises, the world’s most famous weapons design company. He lives a life most people dream of. After revealing a new weapons system for the U.S. Air Force in the Middle East, Tony is attacked by terrorists and critically injured by a piece of flying shrapnel. The terrorists try to force him to build them a missile, but Tony has other plans. Using spare parts he builds a miniature power source to keep the shrapnel from entering his heart and creates a powerful suit of armor to escape the terrorists and stop their plans. Once back in the U.S., Tony decides to stop weapons manufacturing and secretly creates a new “hi –tech” version of his armor to fight against criminals and terrorists. With the help of his secretary/ assistant, Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) and best friend Air Force commander, Jim “Rhodey” Rhodes (Terrance Howard) he discovers a plot that could threaten the world with new weapons, perpetrated by his business partner Obadiah Stane (Jeff Bridges). Only Tony Stark as his alter ego “Iron Man” can stop him. Iron Man is an incredible movie. For comic fans and people interested in seeing a good movie this is the one. Not only do the actors do an excellent job portraying these characters but the plot, action, special effects, technology, music and appropriately timer humor make this a must see. Iron Man Rules! VERY IMPORTATNT: I WILL INFORM AGAIN IF OTHER FILMS HAVE THESE EXTRA SCENES AS WELL, BUT
FOR FUTURE REFERENCES ALWAYS SIT THROUGH THE CREDITS SO YOU CAN SEE THE
ENTIRE MOVIE JUST IN CASE. BECAUSE NOWADAYS A LOT OF FILMS DON’T
END AT THE CREDITS.

Vantage Point This movie couldn’t have been more appropriately
named. It’s about an attempted It starts with one character’s point of view of the day’s events, then rewinds to the beginning again to show another’s point of view. This process repeats until all 8 people’s vantage points are shown. When those are done the entire story comes together with big revelations and some major action scenes including an incredible car chase scene throughout Madrid. Vantage Point is a great movie that was not shown in
your typical way of storytelling. The rewinding of the day may take a
toll on some viewers minds, but its worth seeing just to watch how all
the characters parts come together to make this great story filled with
all the plot twists, surprises and action. The movie stars: Dennis Quaid,
Matthew Fox, William Hurt, Forest Whitaker, and Sigourney Weaver. “Cloverfield” Review By Andre’ Johnson Cloverfield is about five New Yorkers who throw their friend a going-away party the night a monster the size of a skyscraper attacks the city. It is told from the point of view of their digital camera as they try to survive night’s events. The film is reminiscent of “The Blair Witch Project” because of its documentary style look. It starts off a little boring because of how the characters are introduced and a few useless side plots. Once the action begins though, the movie really gets good. The action scenes look very real as we see the monster
rampaging throughout the city, the military trying to stop it and help
people who have been injured and trying to evacuate. But the real story
follows the five people who we follow on the adventure as they go through
the drama of the situation. Cloverfield is a unique movie. It doesn’t
seem like it would be a good film bur really works. Check it out its really
worth seeing.
